Role : Director - Procurement Technologies
- 3rd Party Technologies are an integral element of Organizations Digital Solutions Strategy to leverage new and emerging technologies that support our client's digital roadmaps and digitally-enable our procurement service offerings.
- This Director will perform ongoing procurement market research and client engagement to develop a deep understanding of the procurement technologies market, evaluate new and emerging technology companies, establish relationships with targeted partners and develop mutually beneficial agreements that expand Organizations capabilities and drive significant revenues and customer growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform market research and client/market engagement to develop a deep understanding of the procurement technologies market and partner landscape.
- Develop New Organizations technology-enabled capabilities that leverage 3rd party technologies and Organizations service capabilities.
- Create an operating model for identifying target partners, classification of different partner types, qualifying partner capabilities and fit, establishing partner relationships.
- Define a prioritization and governance model that establishes and evolves partner priorities against Organizations business objectives
- Develop knowledge base of technology landscape in various procurement segments and grow capability to assess and advise on client technology selections.
- Establish, negotiate and maintain partner alliance agreements and contractual arrangements that enable rapid execution for client demands.
- Support sales and account teams to identify partner opportunities and execute through contract. Drive go-to-market activities with partners to accelerate opportunity and revenue growth.
- Support and manage implementation and success of technology partner opportunities.
Educational Qualification / Work Experience:
- PG / MBA / B.Tech with 14+ years of work experience in a combination of Procurement, Digital Technology, sales and commercial, and client services.
- Possesses sound Procurement experience and technology acumen to understand and drive new procurement technologies, including consultative skills, understanding of procurement processes, including strategic sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and the landscape of procurement technologies.
- Experience with business-to-business alliances, partner management and strong negotiation skills.
- Strong client service orientation and senior level consultative and communication skills. Ability to quickly command client respect and relationship alignment in an uncertain and changing environment.
- Understanding of digital technologies and ability to create new and novel solutions by combining these technologies with Organizations service capabilities.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities, projects and initiatives simultaneously and meet tight, ambitious timelines
- A strong leader and a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally and with client stakeholders)
- Excellent problem-solving ability
