Client Details

The client is one of the market leaders in the speciality chemicals in the EU region who are now looking to expand into Indian subcontinent by starting with trading of their chemicals manufactured in the mother plant and eventually planning to setup their own plants in the long run. They are looking for a professional with the zeal to create teams and lead them towards the strategic goals of the organisation.

Description

The candidate would be reporting to the MD and would:

- Be responsible for setting up of the procurement team for India

- Handle both direct and indirect sourcing and procurement

- Participate in business development activities and accordingly source materials

- Create, lead & train a team of professionals to assist in the purchase department

- Extensively liaise with the global and external stakeholders

Profile

The ideal candidate:

- Comes with at least 12 years experience in procurement

- Has experience preferably in chemical industry

- Is adept at working with various ERP systems

- Has good communication & team management skills
