Director PMO, Engineering

Location: Noida

Experience: 15 to 20 Years

Must-Have:

- Experience in Project Management

- Experience in Agile Project Management tools

- Experience in product-based companies

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent having 15+ years experience with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in project management

- Solid understanding of and experience in using appropriate tools: Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Confluence etc

- Microsoft Project, Visio and all Office Tools

General Purpose:

- Director PMO, Engineering in Project Management to manage the entire SDLC process for software products in an Agile environment.


- In addition to managing the development team, responsible for working closely with the product management group, the architecture team, and the QA team to ensure the on-time delivery of superior-quality products as per the roadmap and plan.


- The person will share regular status with management, update the plan for critical changes, and highlight any risks and mitigation plan after discussion with the respective Product Manager and Leads.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Status Updates :


- Define project scope based on product Manager inputs and work with lead for developing project plan.


- Organize and lead project status; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans.

Product Manager/Lead Support :


- Support the Product Manager/Lead in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.

Process Management and Improvement :


- Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management

Team Management :


- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work.
