Job description
Our client is a diruptive fin-tech company with 10+ yrs of expertise in solving working capitals for SMBs. Founded in 2014, The company offers digitized trade financing solutions in markets such as the US, India, and Mexico by providing SMB clients access to working capital and currently works with over 3,500 sellers and buyers across 80 countries.
To date, the company has financed more than $2 billion worth of global trade transactions spanning more than 80 countries. It serves SMBs across India, Mexico, and the US, providing access to collateral-free credit. The company also plans to launch a new trade facilitation platform designed to alleviate the pain points of small businesses, while collaborating with participants across the value chain, including shipping lines, payment processors, and insurance providers.
It has raised 175mn$ in funding.
- The company has witnessed rapid growth and success since inception and is poised to continue moving on this exponential expansion trajectory. We are looking to on-board a leader with 10+ years of experience to develop and manage the network of partners
- Develop an AOP and a budget for the business unit that supports the Companys long- term strategy
- Accountable for the teams overall performance and assists direct reports in determining resource levels for their functions
- Maintain tight control on operational metrics for business forecasting
- Monitor and review the operations in a very systematic manner to drive growth, improve margins, bring efficiencies, reduce costs & increase the bottom line.
- Implement strategies to achieve lead generation targets and develop an understanding and expand our channel partnership base
- Build relationships with strategic partners; structure and implement innovative deals that drive significant business growth
- Ensure timely and accurate monitoring of progress of all projects/initiatives while ensuring Sponsors and Stakeholders have visibility and sufficient information to make the required decisions
- Consolidate the distribution network build rewarding relationships with the partner and channel ecosystem to ensure effective market management and penetration
Our Checklist:
- 10+ years of work experience with a strong track record of handling large sales / partnerships teams
- Banking / Fintech experience is a positive
- Result / achievement oriented with a high degree of push power, pro-activity and operational focus
- High degree of empathy; ability to develop credibility to positively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders internal as well as external
- Experience working through complex problems with first principles and strategic thinking, formulating and executing plans to fulfil the organizational vision
- Humility, willingness to learn and proactive / at cause attitude towards the projects that come their way
- Strong verbal and written communications skills relevant for a multinational, geographically and culturally diverse corporation
