Director Operations(SCM)

Reports to CEO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Analysis & development of operation’s distribution system in alignment with company’s objectives through:-

- Identification of the optimal distribution model & infrastructure required to support the same.

- Budget planning and expense control.

- 3PL Vendor identification and completion of final negotiation.

- Proposing and securing approval for the same.

- Development of SOP’s

- Develop and lead implementation of distribution strategies to ensure timely distribution of products.

- Ensure KPI driven performance through optimum utilization of available resources.

Inventory Control and Planning –

- Ensures accurate inventory forecasting

- Ensures accurate inventory maintenance and maintains timely distribution and availability of stock

Warehousing

- Develops strategy for improving key performance indicators on on-time performance, damages, incident rates, overtime etc.

- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

- Ensure legal compliance in all regulatory matters:-

Ensures facility compliance with governmental or other regulatory laws,

MAJOR SKILLS

- Supply Chain management

- Imports and Exports Rules, procedures and operations.

- Regulatory Services knowledge, procedures and operations.

- Inventory planning and forecasting.

- Planning, analytical and coaching skills.

- Budget planning and expenses control.

Education qualification:

- Post graduate with 12 - 20 years of experience in supply chain in consumer goods companies.
