About the Role:
As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end operational processes for our diverse product lines, managing operations within India while facilitating global exports. You will lead a team and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient sourcing, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and delivery of products, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Eligibility:
- Master's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience with setting up labs for biomarker testing.
- Minimum 7-12 years of proven experience in operations management within the healthcare, wellness, or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on international markets, minimum 4+yrs -experience in healthcare/pharma domain.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, manufacturing processes, regulatory compliance, and quality control practices.
- Experience managing export operations and familiarity with global trade regulations and logistics in India and EU region.
- Demonstrated budget planning and financial management skills within operations.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations Management: Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and international expansion.
Supply Chain & Sourcing: Oversee sourcing activities, manage vendor relationships, and optimize supply chain logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials and finished products.
Manufacturing & Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for manufacturing processes, quality control, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local and international regulations, certifications, and quality standards governing the healthcare and wellness industry. Manage documentation, licenses, and certifications necessary for product compliance.
Logistics & Distribution: Streamline distribution channels, manage inventory, and coordinate with shipping partners to ensure smooth and timely delivery to global markets.
Operations Budget Management: Collaborate with finance to develop and manage the operations budget, optimizing costs without compromising quality or efficiency. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for process improvements.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with departments such as sales, marketing, R&D, and customer support to align operations with overall business objectives and customer needs.
Global Expansion: Drive the company's expansion into new international markets, ensuring compliance with export regulations and adapting operations to diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
