Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Offline Sales to lead our consumer durables division, with a specific focus on wearables and audio segments in the electronics industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in distribution across modern trade, general trade, and pan-India markets. With a proven track record spanning 17-25 years, the Director of Offline Sales will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and establishing strong partnerships within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share in the consumer durables, wearables, and audio segments.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to drive performance and exceed sales objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and channel partners, to ensure effective distribution and market penetration.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends, leveraging insights to develop innovative sales strategies and product offerings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Analyze sales data and market feedback to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and foster strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven track record of 17-25 years in sales leadership roles within the consumer durables industry, with a focus on wearables and audio segments.
- Extensive experience in distribution management, including modern trade, general trade, and pan-India markets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively if required.
