The Director of Marketing is responsible for overall marketing strategy and execution. This position reports directly to CEO & Co-Founder. The candidate for this position should have prior marketing management or leadership experience from a grown-up SaaS business. He or she needs to demonstrate his or her work has had a significant impact on the growth of the business.   Furthermore, the candidate needs to have experience with constructing and managing a true SaaS marketing funnel that can be measured and optimized.   Responsibilities  1. Establish a marketing strategy to meet and exceed lead, pipeline and revenue targets globally (a complete demand creation responsibility)  2. Collaborate with Executive Team, Sales and Product Marketing to develop high-performing marketing programs.  3. Analyze results to gain insight and improve marketing & sales funnel.  4. Manage and coordinate all external marketing, public relations/advertising and promotional activities.  5. Manage social media, and will help grow & engage Bonzai followers across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook & Instagram through strong & sustained social media campaigns.  Requirements  1. 10 to 12 years- experience with at least 5 years in a leadership position.  2. Marketing background with SaaS or enterprise software is essential.  3. Prior experience establishing and implementing global marketing strategy and being a hands-on implementer of the strategy.  4. Experience developing lead campaigns and building product demand creation.  5. Prior experience working in a start-up, high growth environment.  6. Prior experience in team management and marketing budget planning.  7. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong inter-personal skills and a strong communicator.
