It is among the top 20 Indian Web sites. They are the largest e-com player in india with 12th rank according to Alexa with huge network of warehouses, distribution centers, procurement operations and 24/7 customer support teams.
We are looking for hiring Sr Manager/ Associate Director/Director for my Client to be based out of the corporate office in Bangalore. The incumbent shall be responsible for
1. Business strategy - Develop the business model: Go deep, understand where opportunities are and create a viable business model to service the opportunities
2. Vendor network management & operations - Lead a vendor-relations team to identify strategic partners, negotiate better terms of trade and deals for our customers
3. Merchandising and Sales strategy - Own pricing strategy based on market potential, consumer insights, margins, competitive signals, etc. Drive necessary promotions
4. People leadership - Build, retain and groom a strong team to deliver across functions
Desired background
- Should be from IIMs, XLRI, FMS batches 2001 to 2007 only
- 6- 12 years of Sales and Marketing exp coupled with 3-5 years in a premier consulting company or should have worked on a Strategy role within the organisation
- Background of FMCG, Retail, consumer goods industry only should apply
