DESIGNATION / JOB TITLE: Marketing Director

About the Business :

One of the world's leading media group is taking on the consulting companies through there consulting brand. The culture, flexibility, consumer understanding and risk-taking in the advertising business gives them an edge on consulting firms.

While the company has employees dedicated to business consulting, the practice also pools CEOs and leaders from across the group and even outside getting the best of breed experts who have built businesses to create teams on a project-by-project basis.

There business model is a break from what clients have come to expect from traditional consultants, which charge clients for their time. They won't just advise on strategy, but it will also build products, campaigns, and infrastructure.

Four key focus areas:

o AI & Big Data (Data strategy, Org transformation with AI, AI tools and implementations, Customer value exchange etc.)

o Digital & Marketing Transformation (promoter workshops, promoter coach, organisation transformation, marketing transformation -agency measurement, audits etc, management and decision dashboards, martech consulting)

o Digital Business Turnarounds (India GTM, Digital Business turnarounds inside large companies)

o Innovation (Blockchain, IOT, Creative strategy, content strategy, Transmedia, Setting up startup accelerators, business on cloud, future of work, new digital businesses etc)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As a business you will have the opportunity to create and manage communities of the headhonchos and top entrepreneurs of the Indian industry and this will take your marketing and networking skills to the next level. This role is tailormade for someone who loves networking and aspires to be be part of Indian Inc's Inner Circle.

There are two key parts to this role:

1) Build company's brand, community and help grow the business

2) You should help the company build itself as the group's consulting business via thought leadership, events, content, campaigns etc.This should lead to lead generation for the business.

The key target audience for the company is - Company Promoters- / - Shareholders- / - Board- / - Chairman- /- CEO - . Hence you should be someone who has built a brand with that level of people

Key role includes:

- Building thought Leadership via content creation (articles, blogs, whitepapers, research work, case studies etc)

- Create a brand around company's events (promoter events) which should lead to pull creation

- Bring some global event formats or create our own large format events in the space of AI and Martech / others

- Work closely with various online and offline publications to create alliances, partnerships and own the - Digital Tansformation- / AI space

- Be responsible for company PR and ensure presence and conversation across all related press

- Identify and create partnership industry bodies (government/ non - government) where the company could play a role.

- Identify key networking opportunities for company's executive team to engage with the TA

- Create ongoing engagement collateral for the company

- Manage social media and create thought leadership pages/ handles which has engagement from the top decision makers of the country.

- Build and own community of leaders (TA)

- Identify, create and engage a network of SMEs in different spaces (entrepreneurs who have build successful businesses already)

3) Be a SME for Marketing Consulting

- Consult organisations in making the right Martech decisions

- Create tools and benchmarks for client- agency engagement (appointment, measurement etc. ) and manage consulting assignments in that domain

- Own consulting assignments in the CRM, AI led marketing space, programmatic space.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Must Have :

Min. 5 years experience (no upper limit) working in B2B marketing space specifically marketing at promoters/ CEOs/ shareholders of large enterprises (Experience no bar as we are open to look at anybody who has the right skills to help us build this business)

Added Advantage :

Exposure to digital marketing and Martech technologies will be an added advantage
