Client/Location:

We are looking for Director Marketing and Business Development for one of our Analytics client, and this position will be based out of NY,USA.The candidates must have exposure of global insurance (P&C) and valid US Visa.

As Director of Marketing and Business Development, Commercial Insurance you will report directly to the CEO of the company. This position will be a key member in leadership team, and will drive various marketing initiatives from strategy through execution, measurement, and refinement, as well as strengthen our position within the Insurance Market both domestically and internationally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing:

- Develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy for organisation in the US commercial insurance market.

- Develop marketing and communications targets for the team and be responsible for achievement of goals.

- Work with the business heads to create a marketing strategy for all services provided by Organisation under multiple product/service lines.

- Research and segment the US commercial market to identify and target the right customers for business development.

- Create marketing material, brochures, website content, as well as a social media strategy for the organisation .

- Work with PR agencies to identify the right opportunities for articles, whitepapers, which can help, establish the organisation as a leader in the insurance services space.

- Working with the CEO in hiring and mentoring a sales and customer acquisition team.

Business Development:

- Act as initial point of contact for business leads and potential clients to introduce them to clinet's services.

- Maintain high level of interaction with new clients along with CEO/Business heads to ensure needs are being met, including and not limited to negotiations and contract management.

- Work with existing clients to strengthen relationships and keep them up to date on the services that organisation provides, as well as new ones being added.

- Identify conferences and insurance industry events that organisation should participate in and develop the communication material that will be showcased at these events

- Identify potential products and capabilities that Organisation should be investing in, based on industry trends.

SKILLS:

- BA/BS Degree or equivalent Insurance industry experience

- 7-10 Years of marketing and underwriting experience either with Brokerage firm or carrier

- CPCU designation is preferred, CIC would be desirable

- Having good Industry knowledge of Insurance services and functional knowledge of Marketing and communications.

- Keen interest in Insurance analytics and insurance technologies

- Strong ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and with clients. Must possess strong analytical, strategic, project management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

- Very strong IT skills -- must have high proficiency on IT applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web
