Director/Manager - Engineering - eCommerce - IIT/NIT/BITS

Our client is India's leading eCommerce company, India's largest & most reputed business group has recently acquired them, current team size is around 300 wherein engineering team is of around 40 people (Mostly people from Tier-1 college)

- The Engineering team is young, talented, creative and supercharged. We are dedicated to the mission of building the most technologically advanced e-commerce platform in India.

- We are looking for engineers to build most sophisticated Personalization, Recommendation Engine, Mobile Platforms, Smart Apps, Search, CMS, Payment Gateway, Catalog, Shipping, Warehouse Management Systems etc. for Our client

Position : Engineering Director / Manager

- Engineering Managers at Our client need to be technical leaders and motivators who are comfortable leading teams in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is self motivated and detail oriented with experience working in a fast-pace software development environment.

Candidate Profile :

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment

- Should be results oriented, proactive and showing overall leadership quality

- Design and build extremely reliable, scalable and high performing enterprise systems in about one-third the time that most competent people think possible.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of relevant hands-on technical management experience of software engineers.

- Bachelor / Masters (IITs, RECs, BITS, Regional reputed engineering colleges etc preferred)

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in back end, front end, Mobile & DB

- Strong Experience in building world class UI, using latest UI technologies.

- Good knowledge of Advance Javascript (Nodejs, AngularJS), CSS3 & HTML5

- Experience in Ruby on Rails / Java with SCALA will be an added advantage

- Experience in Handling team of bright Engineers (Back end, front end & mobile)

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
