Director - Management Consulting/Corporate Strategy - President Office - Conglomerate

We have been retained by a multi-crore business conglomerate to create the President's team a nucleus team focus on formulating and implementing strategies for multiple business verticals across education, media and technology

Role: Director - President Office

Reporting to: President

Experience- 14-17 years

Location - Chennai

As a Director of the President Office you will be the right hand of the President, working in tandem with the president towards building corporate level strategies and in partnership with the various other vertical heads define the roadmap/ future state of business in education, media and technology industry.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Develops options for strategy management teams and develops corporate strategies and transformation moves across the business.

- Leads the development of the business's strategic objectives and processes

- Facilitate cross-functional team collaborations as well as to support executive leadership and stakeholders within the business in developing business strategies, inclusive of long-term goals and objectives, key risk management, and driving business and project initiatives.

Business Strategy and Planning:

- Support the President in business strategy and plans for the Group

- Facilitate Go to Market activities/ Marketing intelligence

- Can draw insights from complex financial and quantitative analysis and integrate these insights and findings across work streams and come up with overall plan to drive strategy and solution development. Also, can structure and implement forecasting models and identify transformation opportunities

- Can identify company's key cost and value drivers and explain their priority / influence on business performance

- Can develop strategies and operating models focused on business units and assess likely competitive responses.

- Understands implications a new strategy will have on day to day cross functional operations of a business

Requirements/Eligibility:

- Professional Education / Masters (MBA / CA / CFA)

- 14-17 years of experience in Management Consulting / Corporate Strategy

- Candidates with combination of Consulting and Corporate sector experience will be given preference
