Director - M&A Investment Banking

Role: Director - M&A, Investment Banking

Primary responsibilities for you will be originating and leading the execution of M&A advisory and private capital raising transactions. You will have strong marketing and relationship skills, and a broad referral network from which to generate new business for the firm with a proven track record. The role represents a unique opportunity for a highly capable professional to make substantial contributions to overall firm growth in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Few key responsibilities:

- Manage and execute live transactions, assisting with new business development and client relationships, with a particular focus on working closely with Vice Presidents/ Associates on day-to-day team deliverables

- Oversee financial and valuation analysis, resolving complex financial and accounting issues, performing industry and competitive analysis and preparing client presentation materials

- Create client marketing materials (Teasers, Confidential Information Presentations, Management Presentations, etc.) to be distributed to prospective investors

- Identify and contact targeted investors interested in a potential transaction and managing investor proposal solicitation

- Assist in the structuring and negotiation of transactions

- Oversee and manage client and investor due diligence

- Provide professional development coaching to junior team members

- Share and manage best practices as well as lead internal trainings where required

- Lead business development efforts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients

- Support talent acquisition and firm development efforts

- Contribute to creating a high-performing and inclusive culture
