About Our Client

Our client is a FMCG Giant with a global presence. They are considered to be pioneers in the space, and are renowned for the innovative and impressive product portfolio. Over the years, they have been able to establish a significant presence in the India market. Currently, they are looking to recruit a Director - Logistics & Planning, based out of their corporate office in Delhi NCR.

Job Description :

- Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for managing the Logistics and Planning function for the company end to end.

- This would involve developing and implementing a medium term and long term strategy for the function, while ensuring that it is in line with overall company objectives.

- You will also be required to establish and drive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate with key vendors/suppliers.

- There will be a team of around 10 people reporting into you directly, and you will be required to assist in their career development.

The Successful Applicant :

- You will be a MBA from a Top Tier B School (1995 to 1999) batch with a strong experience in Logistics, Customer Service, Demand/Supply Planning and Operations.

- Prior experience of having worked in the FMCG industry is a MUST.

- The client is looking for a thought leader with a strategic approach towards his/her work, and the ability to develop and implement long term strategies for the company.
