Director- Lending & Payments (PayLater) - Fintech (12+ years)
- An exciting job opportunity for a passionate, aggressive, target oriented professional with 12+ years of experience in Consumer Finance/ Fintech /Payments & Lending space in leading Banks/FinTech's' engaging with FinTech lenders for embedded finance.
- You must have a prior experience in Consumer Lending space and should have designed/launched innovative financing product (e.g. Buy Now, Pay Later). Our distinguished client is looking for an individual operating at National level responsible for new initiatives, strategic alliances & partnerships with Buy Now, Pay Later and other players offering affordability products; along with growing the overall portfolio and driving cross-sell/up-sell affordability offerings across new and existing merchant database while working with cross functional teams (Product, Marketing, Risk etc.).

You will be Responsible For :
1. Building affordability business strategy along with market assessment, go to market strategies for Buy Now Pay Later
2. Undertaking new initiatives in designing/launching innovative financing product while working closely with the product team to identify suitable product solutions
3. Initiating strategic alliances & partnerships (hunting) with buy now, pay later and other players offering affordability products.
4. Growing the overall portfolio and driving cross-sell/up-sell affordability offerings across the new and existing merchant base.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional partners (e.g., Risk, Marketing, Product, Operations, Analytics) for ensuring successful development and deployment of new products
6. Managing lender relationships by providing periodic reviews, dispute management and resolution
7. Leading a team of diverse product portfolio to current & prospective clients & coordinating activity across the Group to ensure integration of services and consistency of delivery.
The Successful Candidate :
1. An Post graduate from a Tier 1/Tier 2 College with 12+ yrs of product/tech-based organization with B2B experience from a Fintech/Banking space with strong understanding of financial services domain
2. Experience in Consumer Finance/Lending/Payments / Buy now ,pay later space and Cross sell /Up sell of product & services to businesses on the lending side /affordability side with knowledge of the products offered by the competitors and deliver an insight on how to overcome the same.
3. Proven experience in operating at National level responsible for new initiatives, strategic alliances & partnerships with Buy Now, Pay Later and other players offering affordability products; along with growing the overall portfolio and driving cross-sell/up-sell affordability offerings across new and existing merchant database while working with cross functional teams (Product, Marketing, Risk etc.)
4. Excellent sales aptitude with good presentation, communication, negotiation skills
5. Excellent in client relationship building & retaining current clients.
6. Passionate, Aggressive & Go getter attitude.
