- Internal Assessment:Develop framework for impact assessment internally, in consultation with program teams, Communications and Strategic Partnerships and periodically generate impact assessment reports for all programs.
- Program Audit: Perform program audits for NGO partners; develop timetable for scheduling audits, create audit plan, execute testing and prepare internal audit reports for each engagement. Evaluation will be based on a quality, programmatic and financial perspectives.
- Data Validation: Verify the data provided by the programs. Conduct monitoring visits to different programs regularly to ensure that the data collection process is robust and validate the data through checking on a sample basis. Monitoring should be done keeping in line with donor requirements.
- Partnerships: Conduct due diligence for new & existing partnerships. Participate in strategic discussion regarding partner selection, continuation & closure.
- MIS:Manage and implement MIS application to all programs.
- Data Analysis:Analyze the data collected from different programs through the MIS and other sources and provide feedback to the program teams for the same. Support Communications and Strategic Partnerships with their analytical requirements.
- Research and Publications: Initiate AIF research papers on social development based on program outcomes; create white papers that can be shared with different stakeholders, including donors;publish research in peer reviewed journals and present at conferences
- Impact Assessment:Periodically commission reputed institutions to perform impact assessment studies
Skills and Competencies
- Candidate should have at least 5-7 yrs experience (total exp should be minimum 10 years) in designing and running programme monitoring, evaluation, learning and impact assessments in the development sector, preferably in the public health, education and livelihoods space.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Hindi) to execute tough calls with different program heads.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
- Should have good understanding of data and should be able to manage and analyze large data sets.
- Should be very proficient with MS-Office, Knowledge of statistical tools like SPSS, Stata is preferred.
- Should be able to build the new unit from scratch & manage a team.
- Candidate should be willing to travel to various program areas.
- Capacity to develop framework for entire LEI Setup, Midway correction, advisory exp and program management experience required.
