Our client is a Fortune 500 company -and is setting up their India IT centre.
- The Director, India IT Operations, will lead the execution and delivery of business processes and customer service experiences across multiple business disciplines in support of AutoZone's organizational needs. This includes implementing new ideas, constructing budgets, managing IT in-country finances, overseeing staff recruitment and training, adopting the company culture and values, and ensuring that all operations comply with local laws and regulations. In partnership with the business functions, the Director will establish enhanced customer service levels, operational discipline, improved company-wide scalability and efficiency, performance improvement, and product development capabilities.
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of India IT operations, including those related to HR, Admin, and Finance
- Work closely with the company's senior IT leadership team in executing strategic IT direction
- Provides strong leadership and effectively communicates strategies, objectives and tactics to the team and guides them to success
- Fosters a service mindset, ensuring cooperation and engagement within and between business units and with US functional leaders
- Oversees human resources operations, including recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations, leveraging US resources and relationships as needed
- Partnering with Group for Payroll, Onboarding, and other HR corporate services
- Establish a strategy to recruit, develop and retain the best local talent
- Drives process improvement initiatives
- Managing escalations to resolution through cross-team collaboration and customer focus
- Establish service level agreements and reporting on key performance measures (KPIs) by collaborating with business functions and executive leadership
- Report metrics to senior leadership, in a meaningful way, on a regular cadence
- Ensure all operations comply with local laws and regulations
- Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly to maintain the company competitiveness/attractiveness on the labour market
Ideally, you will have Bachelor's Degree in Information Science/Systems, Computer science or Engineering fields
- Master's degree preferred
- At least 10+ years of experience in mid to senior-level management roles in IT operations and managing administrative functions
- Experience working in a global organization
- Proven track record in building and leading cross-functional IT teams
- Strong communication and consensus-building skills are a must
