Director - IT Operations

Purpose:

Responsibility for supervision and management of global network infrastructure team. This involves leading a team of network professional engineers, designing and implementing network solutions while ensuring system availability and optimizing network performance. Collaborate with other departments to align network strategies with business goals in line with emerging technologies in the industry to improve the overall network architecture.

KRA:

- Experience in Enterprise organization, Wireless, Data Center, Cisco Aruba, Firewall Network Cloud, Project Management, Budgeting etc.

- Experience in managing global data centers and SD-WAN equipment.

- Experience in people management including team's performance metrics, ratings and attrition management.

- Experience in Network Design, implementation and maintenance of highly available and fault tolerant network routing / switching / security infrastructure.

- Experience in - Infrastructure technologies include, but are not limited to: Client based SSL VPN, Site-to-Site IPSec VPN, DNS, DHCP, VoIP, SIP, H.323 video collaboration, firewall technologies etc.

- Experience in network load balancing technologies, network monitoring technologies, 802.11b/g/n wireless networks, and 802.3 based Ethernet networks.

- Must have experience in handling global enterprise network.

- Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCDP Checkpoint CCSE CWNP CWSP CWNP CWAP ISC2 SSCP Avaya ACS.

- Experience with Aruba wireless

- Previous experience in delivering large platforms on a public cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)

- Established relationship with key public cloud vendors.

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Sciences or equivalent is required.

- 15 years of Technical Network delivery experience of Enterprise Corporate level platforms and projects in global companies

- 15 years' experience in computer electronics and/or telecommunications.

Other Skills:

- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills at a senior level both internally and externally.

- Able to engage and manage up, down and across the IT and business without formal authority.

- Able to handle crisis situations, develop and execute a response plan.

- Strong IT vendor management skills.

- Innovative and passionate about public cloud technologies.
