Director - IT & Operational Risk & QA Lead - Bank

A Leading foreign bank is looking for candidates with 7+ years of experience in IT & Operations.

Key Responsibilities of IT & Ops Risk & QA Lead:

- Support Implementation of GODC Key controls ( incl KPCs) and provide risk management support in implementation

- Perform BCM risk assessment of GODC in partnership with APAC BCM teams and GCS BCM strategy

- Support implementation of common group policies as applicable to outsourcing / ODC vendors

- Monitor Incident management adherence as it relates to GODC Incident management process, support implementation of a standard functional incident management process

- Own the Operational risk items for GODC and drive them to closure as a part of GCS risk management set up

- Set up and monitor the ODC risk metrics and provide reporting on a monthly / quarterly basis for the COO / Risk dashboard and GCS ICAP. Manage preparation for and execution of Internal Controls Assessment Process (ICAP) within the GODC Function

- Support the ODC Managers with a functional view of all processes that take place at the ODC that RO attests to and to provide visibility to RO around process performance in such processes / enable any discussions to strengthen processes.

- Support the functional teams with support on operational risk elements in collaboration with the GCS central risk team

- Coordinate with other risk control functions and leverage internal audit and external reviews to develop a complete and integrated view of risk

- Direct and execute proactive risk management processes in self-identification and capture of risk within the GODC Function

- Direct and execute risk activities in support of audits conducted by internal and external auditors

- Prioritize risk activities in accordance with the goals set by GCS Risk Management

- Manage and coordinate remediation activities

- Provide expert guidance on the development of relevant policies and control documentation

- Help promote and instil a culture of risk management and delivery excellence

- Stay abreast of industry news and regulatory developments to facilitate a more proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation

- Contribute to development of methodologies / processes that measure QA effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement, and drive related process improvement changes.

- Ensure QA activities and process meet company's data protection policy requirements

- Good understanding of QA in the context of Information Technology, Operations and ability to develop frameworks, methodologies to apply in conjunction with the functional QA leads
