We are looking for Director of IT/Head of IT with strong experience in Application, ERP(70%) and 30% in infrastructure, should have managed matrix environment and have understanding of manging Corporate IT set up. This individual will be reporting to CIO and manage a team size of 50+
Job Profile:
Oversees the people who deliver internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Works directly and closely with peers around the globe. Helps to manage and prioritize the project stream, working with peers and internal customers to determine resource requirements and timelines. Provides budget analysis, resource allocation and coordination of project activities that may be across functional areas within the organization. Helps to assigns and monitor the work of project personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget. Monitors reliability and any internal issues that appear as a result of projects and/or processes. Select, develop, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives with a major focus on execution. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations- effective achievement of objectives. Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company operations. Regularly interacts with peers, executives and internal customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization. Works closely with IT peers to direct and control the activities of several functional IT areas. Has input to planning, staffing, budgeting and managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage India IT operations
- Manage local contracts including co-location environment
- Work closely with IT peers, focusing on the successful execution of work and projects
- Develop and maintain a partnership with the business and IT leadership
- Define and establish metrics and reporting
- Recommend and define practices, processes and technologies that improve work delivery
- Improve communication and collaboration with all global teams
- Promote involvement and inclusion of expertise as appropriate and defined by process
