Director - Investment Portfolio Valuations

The Role : This position will be a part of the Investment Portfolio Valuation Leadership team. The candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting key components of the IP team.

Primary responsibilities will include :

Required :

- Help lead and implement a strategic partnership between the US and India-based teams

- Deep understanding of US capital markets, specifically fixed income including knowledge of US Treasuries, Agency Mortgage-backed securities, securitizations, and US municipal securities

- Experience with forecasting fixed-income assets

- Advanced communication skills, with the ability to synthesize problems into the clear and crisp language

- Intellectually curious, and a desire to understand details of how complex fixed income forecasts are generated

Desired :

- Familiarity with the US regulatory landscape for GSIB institutions including Basel III, Enhanced Prudential Standards, US LCR, others

- PolyPaths and QRM experience

- Familiarity with agile software development

- Experience working in the US, preferably at a GSIB or one of the big 4 consulting firms

- Knowledge of cashflow modeling for fixed-income securities

Required Qualifications :

- 17+ years of Finance experience, with a Strong finance background (CA/CMA/CPA/MBA Fin from a Top Tier Institute, etc.)

- Prior experience of having been a Business P&L manager, Finance function lead, FP&A lead, and Operations Leader managing a finance team of 40+ team members

- Prior exposure to working in a Global Set up and Matrix-based Reporting Set up

- Prior experience in setting up Finance Centers of Excellence, building high-performance teams, and driving high impact Change projects
