Director - Investment Banking Operations

We have an urgent openings with one of our Client for Director Investment Banking Operations.

Location : Hyderabad

Person with Proven Leadership skills, keen passion to build and manage Global Operations for a

Strategic Client. Experience in handling large global teams (150+ associates) – Investment banking,

Investment Management experience. Should have handled teams in Securities Post Trade processing
(example – Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives & reconciliation). Should have strong people & client management experience and should have driven transformation projects. Business development and transition experience is required.

Educational Background

1. Graduate/ Post Graduate in Engineering

2. An MBA from top schools would be an advantage

No of years of experience

1. Overall Experience: > 12 years

2. Minimum years in BPO--- At least 8 years, mostly with Investment banking

3. Minimum # of years in People Management role: 6 years

4. Should have been stable across different roles

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead delivery for global operations for a Strategic Client

2. Global delivery across multiple delivery centers in India and abroad, managing a team of over 150+ FTEs

3. Manage multiple transitions and deliver y for Americas/Europe and Asia

4. Will be responsible for meeting revenue and profitability targets, client defined SLAs, quality & transformation targets

5. Reasonable amount of travel to be expected

Experience Required:

1. In the immediate past should have managed securities operations (example - equities, FI, derivatives, reconciliations) of reasonably large size, 150+ people

2. Should have good understanding of capital markets space

3. Techno domain manager with understanding of technology used to deliver outputs

4. Ability to understand and manage risks

5. Experience in managing middle level managers and mentoring them

6. Independently manage key relationships with senior stakeholders onshore

7. Managed service delivery spread across multiple delivery centers. Exposure to managing delivery across global delivery centers will be an added advantage

8. Strong financial acumen & exposure to quality management programs would be preferred

9. Been successful in a Matrix Organization
