Director-Investment Banking

Our client is looking for a Director- Investment Banking.

MBA from Premium B-School or equivalent

- Minimum 15 years of proven experience of M&A advisory and/or PE/VC fund raising for growth stage companies, preferably in one or more of the focus sectors (Financial Inclusion, Education, Healthcare, Clean Energy, Agri/ Livelihood)

Job Responsibilities:- Job Description

- The Director will co-head the Investment Banking Group (IBG) and co-own the P&L of the business. Along with the existing Director, he will provide the overall leadership for the team and be responsible for growing the overall business, especially M&A.

- IBG’s current business includes raising Capital (both debt and equity), M&A and providing Corporate Finance Advisory services, to growing enterprises.

Job Responsibilities

- Origination of M&A transactions

- Develop and implement the business plan for the Investment Banking Group of the company along with the existing Director

- Grow the investment banking practice of the firm with a special focus on building the M&A advisory business.

- Focus on originating new mandates for the firm, particularly M&A transactions

Job Description

- Provide oversight on successful execution of mandates to achieve business unit targets

- Develop institutional relationships with potential clients as well as PE/VC investor community

- Generate new business ideas, ventures and service offerings that could add to the firm’s existing revenue generation ability

Required Skills

- Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets and investment banking business

- Ability to plan, execute and deliver on projects in a timely manner

- Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvements
