Director-Internal Audit Partner - Pune

A management consulting and audit firm based in Pune looking for a Director-Internal Audit. Suitable candidates should be a qualified Chartered Accountant and have work experience of 12-20 years in Management consulting and audit firms. The incumbents should have experience in handling large internal audits, Audit committees.

Preferably male candidate, Age – 35 to 45 yrs

Salary slab: depending upon credential of candidates, upto 20 lakhs

Since it is purely an audit firm, we do not prefer candidates from Industry

The JD of the position is as under:

Key Purpose of the Job

- Development and implementation of the strategy as per the requirement of the client. Ensure delivery and completion of assurance, tax and advisory services. Identify service related issues and develop solutions.

- Gain a thorough understanding of the industry issues. Manage a team of Managers and associates.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Managing and leading a team of managers directly reporting to the position based on the assignment.

2. Ensuring technical knowledge is updated and should posses technical knowledge upto the level of an ‘expert’ within the firm.

3. Leading teams for Internal audit assignments

4. Closely monitor the planning and execution of all the Audits, Resource scheduling, Staff training, Implementation of firm’s audit methodology, finalizing the audit along with the partners.

5. Should be able to independently handle and execute large assignments and directly report to the partner

6. Should be able to handle and execute multiple assignments

7. Display understanding of client's business, industry and issues; and be able to interact with clients effectively and address their issues tactfully.

8. Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, BKK’s products and service lines.

9. Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

10. Interact with the senior management in respect of reports and closure of issues relating to assignment

11. Preparation and presentation of report/s at audit committee of the client wherever required

12. Responsible to guide team members on technical issues and guide them to write the report sections

13. Monitor the progress of team members on key deliverables and provide appropriate guidance

14. Responsible for review of report sections prepared by the team members and finalize the report before sharing it with partner

15. Ensure work plan for all assignments are made well in advance with deliverables set for each team member on independent projects

16. Effectively execute against project timelines based on priorities, resource availability, and other project requirements (i.e., budget).

17. Business Development- identifying prospective clients, acquire business from new clients
