Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic HR Leadership :

- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, goals, and values.

- Provide strategic counsel to the executive team on HR-related issues, contributing to overall organizational planning and decision-making.

2. Organizational Development :

- Lead initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture.

- Identify and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.

- Oversee succession planning and talent management strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.

3. Employee Relations and Engagement :

- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.

- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.

- Promote effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

4. Compliance and Risk Management :

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that meet legal requirements and industry best practices.

- Oversee risk management initiatives related to HR, including workplace safety and health programs.

5. Compensation and Benefits :

- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.

- Conduct regular reviews of compensation and benefits to ensure alignment with organizational goals and market trends.

6. HR Operations and Technology :

- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, HRIS management, and record-keeping.

- Implement and leverage HR technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes.

- Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

7. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) :

- Lead the development and implementation of DEI initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.

- Monitor and report on DEI progress and outcomes, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goals.

8. Reporting and Analytics :

- Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators.

- Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team on HR-related activities and outcomes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within a non-profit organization.

- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies and programs.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.

- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit sector.
