The Director-HR acts as a partner of the hiring company's India leadership teams and responsible for developing and executing HR strategies and operations to support and accelerate the meeting all HR needs for the Pune site.

Job Location: IT Park, Pune (On-site)

Working Days- 5

Reporting directly to the CHRO, India & SA

Key Responsibilities: -

- Perform duties in Talent Management, Performance Management, Talent and Succession Planning, Change Management,Diversity,Equity and Inclusion, Compensation and Benefits, Retention and Engagement, Talent Acquisition, Leadership development, Employee relations, Training, Grievance and other HR related tasks at both a tactical and strategic level.

- Partner with the line management team to understand key performance issues. Work with the CHRO to help develop the annual people plan and support review of progress.

- Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and headcount management, proactive recruitment strategies and diverse sourcing pipelines, as well as workforce redeployment.

- Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to HR, organizational, and employee development at the business unit or division level.

- Lead talent initiatives for the business unit; work with management to identify internal high potential talent and drive delivery of local development programs.

- Implement workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment. Engage in critical hires and manpower planning needs and assist recruiting team in focused efforts, as appropriate.

- Facilitate talent management activities such as succession management, high potential identification, training and leadership development needs.

- Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues; conduct investigations to minimize legal and third-party exposure while maximizing positive resolution.

- Conducts exit interviews, shares information and highlights opportunities for improvement.

- Prepares effective documentation and makes recommendations for disciplinary actions and termination of employment.

- Partners with hiring company's leadership teams to ensure there is an active workforce planning practice in place to support the company's growth plans.

- Plays an active role with business partners in managing team members performance. Conducts Human Resources training that include both soft skills development and operational skills training process.

- Develop and monitor HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Prepare monthly/annual HR data analytics/KPI's to executive leadership team for effective business decisions.

- Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- 15+ years of progressive work experience including 8+years in a strategic HR Business Lead or Head-HR capacity with Global Software Product Development companies or Emerging Technologies Developer or IT Shared Services Technology Center will only be considered.

- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and leadership skills.

- Demonstrated experience of working with C Suite, CEO and Board Members.

- Well-developed coaching and consulting skills, including the ability to understand group needs and to communicate HR-related processes and principles to leadership and staff.

- Excellent interdepartmental skills to manage interaction with all levels of internal staff and outside contacts.

- Sound time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

- Strong decision-making ability based on company policy; able to work with minimal supervision.

- Strong consulting, influencing and negotiation skills on all HR disciplines including Recruitment, Talent Management, Leadership development, Performance Management, Organization Design, Employee Relations, Compensation and Diversity.

- HR certification is a plus, PHR, SPHR, and/or GPHR. Female candidate will be preferred.
