Job Description - We are looking for a seasoned HR leader with 15 to 20 years of experience to lead the Human resource practice for our client who is a prominent name in the FMCG space.

The ideal candidate must excel in strategic leadership, talent development, and utilise data-driven metrics to achieve business goals while ensuring high employee satisfaction.

Client Details

A leading FMCG organisation headquartered in India, operates in the farming, sourcing, production, and packaging of herbs, spices, and botanicals for B2B and retail customers in developed countries.

Description

The client is looking for a seasoned and results-oriented professional to lead the Human Resources team that is responsible for nearly 1000 plus personnel in India spread across their offices and factories in three states.

The candidate must have experience in leading a team to achieve strategic objectives, drive bottom-line results, and leverage data-driven metrics to consistently achieve organisation's business goals together with high employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement long-term operational strategies that will align with organisation's overall goal and objectives.

- Optimise current performance management practices to improve performance and achievement of goals.

- Improve employee morale for higher productivity and create an energetic, engaging, progressive, and inclusive work environment.

- Collaborate with HR leaders in other locations internationally and align best-practices.

- Monitor regulatory changes and imminent risks to prepare mitigation strategies.

- Provide visionary leadership to all departments, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

- Create a culture of continuous improvement where all co-workers can identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to operational optimisation.

Profile

- Masters in HR or Business Management.

- Over 15-20 years' experience in core HR operations, preferably with 8 years in a leadership role in a manufacturing organisation in the food sector.

- Substantial general management experience; expertise in leading and inspiring teams, preferably within a fast-paced, ethically oriented, food environment.

- Thorough knowledge of the Indian regulatory environment in relation to labour and factory management.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to gather, analyse and interpret data to make informed decisions.

- Good leadership and presentation skills with high levels of motivation.

- Sharp intellect and well-developed analytical and critical reasoning skills combined with extremely high levels of emotional intelligence.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A willingness to roll-up-the-sleeves, when needed, and lead from the front.
