- The regional HR Director will be responsible for collaborating with our HR team in Gurgaon, key business leaders and the broader HR team in the United States with the goal of aligning people operations to business objectives. The regional HR Director will help define both our short-term and long term needs by assessing people priorities in Gurgaon.
- The position will collaborate with the broader HR team in the United States to provide expertise-based recommendations and solutions. The Director will help to ensure we build and maintain a strong local and regional employer brand through talent acquisition and retention of our employees.
Position Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee strategic planning and execution of the region's hiring plans for our experienced hiring as well as on-campus hiring
- Develop strategies to build strong relationships with college campuses and tactics to elevate reputation within our current employees (which can attract laterals/referrals)
- Understands business landscape and changes to hiring needs through collaboration with finance and business leaders
Human Resources Operations and Total Rewards:
- Design employees' compensation and benefits packages utilizing appropriate benchmark data and expertise
- Work with local team to streamline all HR related processes such as onboarding, background verifications, payroll, leave policies, exits interviews, under-performance management, employee relations and other applicable processes
- Provides input and feedback and implements change on gaps and opportunities for improvement In HR programs and policies
- Contribute to developing/refining of HR programs & processes
- Partner in proactively communicating HR trends & market intelligence for alignment & review of HR priorities
- Develop and communicate consistent guidelines, policies and procedures in the region.
People Operations Business Partnership
- Serve as an advisor and strategic partner to our business leaders in Gurgaon for all aspects related to people operations and provide comprehensive solutions backed by data and insights
- Partner with Director of HRBP to drive cross-geography strategies for talent management, enabling strong India Office engagement in change management, performance reviews, promotions, engagement survey action-plans, career paths, and other activities
- Strengthen best practices for overall employee experience across their recruitment, onboarding and growth phases
Learning & Development:
- Partner with Director of Learning & Development to enable cohesive and unified L&D services across regions, including ongoing professional development, manager/leader development, competency models, and other related avenues
- Guide and coach India L&D resources to ensure high-impact new joiner orientation and firm-building efforts that align with HQ company culture while also relevant to time zone, practices and norms for India-based talent pool
Position Requirements
Education: Master's degree preferred; Degree concentration in Human Resources
Work Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in human resources.
