To lead and strategically manage the Human Resources function across the company's airline catering operations, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives. This role involves overseeing all aspects of human capital management, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, labor union management, performance management, and compliance with relevant labor laws.

Job Description:

- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.

- Lead and mentor the HR Manager and HR team to enhance their capabilities and ensure effective HR service delivery.

- Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent in line with business needs.

- Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and effective communication strategies.

- Design and implement HR policies and procedures that support organizational objectives while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational transformations.

- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in HR practices.

- Lead employee relations initiatives, ensuring harmonious relations between management and unionized employee. Maintain harmonious labour and management relations.

- Provide strategic leadership in all areas of HR to support company growth and operational efficiency.

- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the business objectives of the airline catering business.

- Oversee labor negotiations and manage the relationship with unions, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and labor laws.

- Oversee and manage all HR-related legal cases, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Work with legal counsel to address and resolve any disputes or claims.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations in all HR practices.

- Foster diversity and inclusion initiatives to enhance the workplace environment.

Qualifications and Experience

- Extensive experience handling employee unions and labor relations, including collective bargaining and dispute resolution.

- Strong understanding of labor law and compliance requirements.

- Proven track record in strategic HR leadership, driving talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.
