Position - HR Director - Global Capability Centre

Location - Pune

Key Responsibilities :

The HR Director for the Global Capability Center in Pune will play a critical role in establishing and managing HR functions within this. This role involves setting up and overseeing HR operations, from talent acquisition, employee engagement and performance management, to payroll management and establishing sound HR policies. The HR Director will work closely with the Company's leadership team to build a strong culture, establish reporting infrastructure, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and shape the company's value proposition and employer branding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the setup of HR operations from the ground up, including establishing policies, procedures, and HR systems that align with global standards.

- Oversee all HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.

- Implement HR systems and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations, staying up to date on changes that could affect the GCC.

- Collaborate with leadership to shape and communicate value proposition as an employer.

- Develop and implement employer branding strategies to position the company as an employer of choice in the region.

- Enhance the company's reputation in the talent market by promoting culture, values, and employee benefits.

- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber candidates for various roles within the GCC.

- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.

- Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.

- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive work environment and high levels of employee satisfaction.

- Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and retain key talent within the GCC.

- Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and surveys to gauge satisfaction and address concerns.

- Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.

- Develop and coordinate training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of GCC employees.

- Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the center.

- Collaborate closely with leadership, including the US to align HR initiatives with broader organizational strategies.

- Shape and promote the desired culture within the GCC, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and excellence that aligns with company's values.

- Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes, maintaining strategic alignment and operational effectiveness.

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR partners in the US and India, and business leaders.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Proven experience in setting up HR functions and building new teams in a new business unit or center is a must.

- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR practices.

- Experience in setting up HR reporting infrastructure.

- Demonstrated experience in shaping company value propositions and implementing employer branding strategies.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with HR software and systems, as well as data-driven HR practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

- Commitment to fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee well-being.

- Strong communication skills
