Director - Human Capital

- Act as the face of HR and backbone for the company

- Take the responsibility of sourcing executive level placements in the organisation etc.

- Responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction of the organisation

- Develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan.

- Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organisation as well as clients need as and when they occur

- Provide information and reports on data such as staff turnover, references, cost per hire, training hours per person, etc.

- Conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads.

- Manage costs to budget.

- Ensure all staff receive appraisals in accordance with company policy and monitor probationary periods

- Co-ordinate recruitment throughout the company through management of a recruitment team/HR team.

- Build relationships with recruiters, draft briefs, set up interviews where necessary. Interview senior hires when necessary

- Ensure all Job Descriptions are kept up to date, create new JDs as and when necessary

- Deal with any performance or grievance issues in a legally compliant and professional way to Monitor sickness absence.

- Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and legally compliant.

- Provide day to day advice to line managers on all human resource issues: management of staff, remuneration, etc.

- Review all staff salaries (for both managed manpower and internal) and make recommendations for pay rises in consultation with dept. heads. Implement any increases and promotions.

- Maintain a succession plan for all departments

- Involvement in all redundancy consultations

- Ensure payroll is completed accurately and to deadline

- Conduct occupational health referrals and providing pastoral support and advice to employees

Qualification And Experience:

1. MBA from a Reputed institution with at least 15 years experience in HR with a ITES or BPO or RPO Industry is a must.

2. Prior experience in Change Management, Workforce Capability, HR Transformation, and Organisation Design would be a plus.

3. Demonstrated thought leader-level abilities with a proven record of success directing efforts in large scale HR transformations.

4. Passionate about building great cultures and empowering teams

5. Built and scaled a culture and operations organisation in a 0 to 1 experience

6. Ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues from all levels

7. Have strong depth as a leader within People Development and HR practices

8. Credentials as an organizational leader, with deep business acumen, proven ability to understand strategic organizational issues, and lead and influence change

9. Ability to operate effectively in a matrix structure, demonstrate agility in a fast pace environment, and collaborating with Global office remotely, is a must

10. A capable and confident communicator and people manager, with very strong personal presence

11. Proven experience at a senior level of leading and inspiring a successful People and Development team in a people and service focused organisation

12. Experience of developing and embedding people- focused strategies to deliver commercial and other business objectives
