About our Client : Our client is a leading MNC Bank with strong presence in India with their global shared services centers supporting Retail and Corporate banking and Investment banking operations. As part of their strategic expansion in India, they are looking for a senior professional as a Director to lead their retail banking operations team managing teams for customer service and other retail banking operations driving customer satisfaction.

Job Description : Reporting into Business Head, you would be responsible for driving customer service and retail banking operations through phone banking and operations teams.

Your other key responsibilities would include:

- To build a culture of continuous improvement to drive superior customer service in the teams.

- Drive the shared service strategy to transform the current processes to achieve more efficiency.

- Control over processes, budget and quality along with adherence with group compliance policies.

- Working closely with teams to develop and nurture future leadership.

The Successful Candidate:

- CA or MBA from Tier-1 B School is a must

- Minimum of 14 years of working experience in a similar role

- Strong Operations Management Experience with large span of control is mandatory

- Strong Process Orientation with very good understanding of retail banking operations/products

- Proven track record of managing large teams (over 1000 people)

- Ideal candidate would have a very strong customer focus and would work towards improving operational efficiency to ensure customer delight
