Director & Head - Finance Shared Service Centre - IT/Online/Media/Telecom

Our client is a FTSE 100 company, known for its diverse product offerings, strategic acquisitions, commitment to innovation, and a strong presence in various international markets.

As part of their entry into the Indian market they are actively seeking an experienced Director & Head - Finance Shared Service Centre, India.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Set-up, lead and develop the Finance Shared Services Centre in alignment with organization values.

- Serve as the key representative of the India Shared Service Centre to global stakeholders, advocating for the services and fostering collaboration with other Finance leaders.

- Oversee the seamless transition of critical financial services to the India Shared Services Centre, aligning with organizational roadmaps.

- Take charge of the overall delivery of services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

- Enhance the use of Oracle ERP and other finance technology to automate processes and reduce risks.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Qualified Accountant - (ACA/CIMA/CFA) OR MBA (Finance)

- Hands-on experience in setting up shared services centers, showcasing expertise in optimizing processes and efficiency.

- Proven experience in jointly managing financial controls for organizations. Strong hands-on expertise in financial control processes and procedures.

- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in handling US Regulatory Compliance requirements, particularly SOX 404.

- Successful track record of working in a multicultural environment, showcasing adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
