Business strategy and operations is a center of excellence within the supply chain vertical . The team works on new projects that aim to tap into new areas of business and deliver high growth. This team works closely with the org-wide leadership team, business, product, growth and category teams to drive operational excellence and strategic initiatives. The team is based out of Gurgaon.
Key responsibilities :
The responsibilities span across 4 key areas:
Business strategy :
Develop an understanding of product portfolio, strategic priorities, competitive position, to provide insights on gaps and potential opportunities
Develop and provide analysis around competitors, partners, emerging business models, innovations, market sizing, and industry trends
Operations Management :
Liaison with the business team to understand the requirements; build and execute the diagnostics supply chain to take the projects live. Requires strong first principle problem solving and domain understanding.
Conduct data analysis and synthesize findings into insights within a project, iterate to improve efficiency along with cost optimization.
Communication :
Communicate and advocate insights to relevant stakeholders to drive outcomes
Frequent updates to the leadership team, communicating business performance and insights that facilitate senior discussions and decision making
Project management :
Define goals against key metrics, track performance against them and manage end to end execution
Establish and maintain key points of contact with internal teams, work closely with them to achieve targets
Basic qualifications:
6+ years of relevant experience (consulting, general management, strategy, operations). Experience in a fast paced environment or startup is a plus
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong bias for action and creating impact.
