Director - Government Partnerships - NGO

- Devise effective strategy to build strong network at various levels in relevant ministries, state government along with Regional Teams and key internal stakeholders

- Develop five year plan for Government partnership in lines with MB's vision and mission along with the CPO, Programme Delivery team, Strategy team and other internal stakeholders

- Identify relevant government schemes and design programme strategies to leverage them

- Represent the organisation in technical and programme related meetings with ministries, government, Institutions and local civil society; respecting their mandates and program priorities and facilitate the active engagement on behalf of the organisation at national and/or at sub national level

- Develop strategies for implementing programme in collaboration with government along with Programme Development (PD) - Design and Operation teams

- Work closely with PD and Communications team to identify global and national campaigns that will be beneficial for the organisation to be associated so as to achieve short and long term goals

- Support Operations and PD team to participate in the partnership, needs assessments and response planning, using standardized tools and methods; and in coordination and/or collaboration with other stakeholders

- Guide and work with CRMs to help them prepare briefs and updates for government meetings for key Programmes with focus on government partnerships

- Train and mentor District Managers on government partnership front and help the organisation to create champions for all Programmes.

- Monitor and research current and relevant emerging public policy and schemes relevant to the programme and vision such as New Education Policy, etc.

- Provide support to various survey, study and research to ensure the quality of outcomes and context specificity at the project transit areas

- Prepare briefs, reports and presentations summarizing partnerships related activities and progress to update relevant government officials on stipulated frequency

- Update senior management on overall government partnership progress for the organisation.
