Looking to hire Banking professional for one of the leading Investment bank clients
Location : Bangalore
Core Responsibility :
You will lead Team Leaders/Managers across Payroll which will include Operations, Payroll Remediation and Governance. You will work closely with other Tribes within T&C, Risk and Audit and with the Business to ensure alignment with company's Purpose and Business Strategy and the T&C strategy and priorities. You will develop and execute the Payroll strategy, based on inputs and feedback from internal and external sources.
Key Responsibility :
- Help build a sustainable workforce with the right behaviours and attitudes to support company's purpose & code of conduct
- Contribute towards the creation and ongoing management of a highly engaged, productive T&C workforce, aligned to T&C's ways of working principles
- Lead the development and drive the delivery of Payroll's strategic plan and priorities, managing regular reporting and governance requirements
- Lead and enable Payroll's simplification agenda, ensuring that continuous improvement and employee experience are at the heart of these activities.
- Own the Payroll Squads- roadmap, prioritization and planning process as well as the measures of success, managing and prioritising the flow of work within the Tribe
- Ensure alignment between teams, squads and with other T&C Tribes and that inter-dependencies are clearly articulated and understood
- Anticipate and address business issues with data and insights
- Understand governance requirements, ensuring payroll is well governed, with effective quality assurance, controls and risk management practises in place which are actively monitored and managed for all geographies and payroll platforms
- Oversee the build and maintenance of appropriate controls and procedures to identify and remediate any risk issues and ensure that responsibility is delegated at an appropriate level within the function with clear reporting and accountability lines and authorisation protocols. Escalation of any material issues and follow up of where T&C is responsible.
