Statement of Purpose:

Global Business services (GBS) Leader : Provide leadership for the AMEA Global Business Services delivery center in Gurgaon, India which includes delivery of services throughout Asia and parts of the Middle East and Africa. The leader is responsible for developing and implementing a pan-Asia strategy and operational plans for the global business services organization and ensuring alignment with the enterprise global business services strategy and objectives. Responsible for delivering operational efficiencies through continuous innovation and business process excellence activities within the scope of services delivered that result in cost savings and increased service value. Accountable for improvement initiatives using metrics, lean six sigma tools and governance models. Builds and maintains relationships with key internal customers and 3rd parties. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills, combined with high emotional intelligence, business acumen and a strategic mindset.

Site Leader, Gurgaon Campus

The role also acts as site leader for the Gurgaon campus, responsible for management of site-wide activities including facilities management, employee services, employee engagement activities, and other activities in consultation and partnership with the Gurgaon campus leadership council.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead both the Gurgaon and AMEA transaction processing, finance and analytical groups. Define, meet and exceed service level agreements. Manage the business focusing on the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.

- Develop and deliver service infrastructure services to the GBS team globally

- Partner with peer leaders to guide and drive site initiatives and culture.

- Partner with AMEA business leaders to develop growth plan for AMEA shared services.

- Nurture and grow effective business relationships with key customers from the company's regional sales, R&D, HR and finance and organizations.

- Provide operational transparency to the business with standard scorecards and operational performance metrics. Recommend improvement opportunities which will result in further efficiencies or increased service value.

- Ensure the organization complies with all policies established by the regional and corporate controllership functions and ensure compliance with all legal regulations and audit guidelines.

- Responsible for Quality Commitment: Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality. Understand and comply with all regulations governing the quality systems used by or impacted. Ensure 100% compliance to all personal and Team's mandatory training.

- Identify opportunities to increase GBS services to parent organization and act as primary sponsor for related projects. Lead and ensure success of transitions to GBS (within the global delivery network)

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and commitment to outstanding service through fact-based analysis and performance metrics.

- Be a proponent of employee engagement and well being

- Provide strategic direction to AMEA GBS objectives and build a solution oriented team culture

- Ensure strong collaboration across entities, regions, clients, stakeholders, vendors for success of delivery

- Oversee the maintenance of, and adherence to, internal controls within the shared service team.

- Identify and develop Key talent. Focus Team on critical competencies. Develop a team of professionals. Coaches & rewards employees for working towards & achieving objectives

- Ensure organization meets headcount, budget and financial targets.

Site Leader, Gurgaon Campus

- Facilitate the campus leadership council, the governing body which determines campus wide policies

- Oversee facilities planning and management including space planning, workplace standards, employee health and safety, security and maintenance

- Identify, implement and manage certain campus-wide employee services such as transportation, cafeteria and other on-site amenities

- Ensure effective delivery of site technology services such as desk side support, network monitoring, procurement and deployment of IS equipment, support for campus-wide applications and functional specific applications/systems for GBS, R&D, the IS global delivery center and other global functions in Gurgaon.

Qualifications :

- Experience within a progressive global shared/business services operating model

- Multi-function experience preferred- as example- Procurement, IT, HR, facilities, marketing

- Experience building internal shared services that delivered global services

- Executive influencing skills

- Strong Leadership and communication skills

- Strong Finance and Operations background

- Problem solving skills

- Lean Six Sigma skills

- Very organized and thorough in execution

- 10-12 years experience in finance and shared services/captive operations within a Multinational environment preferable with a company Directorship experience (compliance understanding)

- Strong cultural awareness and ability to work across the globe

- Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant, preferred

- MBA preferred

- BS Degree Finance or equivalent background

- Willingness to travel internationally
