Director - Global Accounting Shared Services - BPO

The Director - Global Accounting Shared Services is responsible for the day-to-day management of accounting personnel in India who assist US accounting operations, including GL reporting, Accounts Payable and Collections, process management and month-end accounting. This hybrid role will require balancing technical accounting expertise with the ability to foster a positive and collaborative culture within the shared service center.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage team in Hyderabad and liaise with US managers

- Assist with strategic initiatives related to P2P and O2C business cycles.

- Review journal entries and certify month-end tasks and reconciliations.

- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.

- Assist with year-end audit requests and other related activities.

- Supervise collection activities, including regular reviews with team members.

- Support the team in handling and resolving billing issues and disputes.

- Liaise with the commissions team in relation to adjustments and clawbacks as applicable.
