Job Title: Director - Global Access Strategy  Reporting: Sr. Director - Strategic Sourcing  Department: Strategic Sourcing  Pre-Requisite:  - 15+ years of Telecom experience, 8+ years must be relevant and in international market  - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in English, both written and verbal  - Knowledge of access technologies & market price points  - Knowledge of telecom and networks  - Strong existing relationship with international telecom carriers  - Extensive experience in price negotiations and contract management  - Speaking of any international language is a plus point  - Strong analytical skills  - Strong leadership and team management skills  Responsibilities:  - Participate in quotation process to acquire new customers and/or upsale to existing customers.  - Managing procurement of data services like IPLC, MPLS, L2 circuits, Ethernet, DSL etc.  - Manage Contracts/MSA/NDA  - Network and cost optimization projects: Manage renewals of network deals, grooms and meet set cost reductions  - Handle escalations from Service Delivery and operations for issues related to vendor or partner  - Handle and negotiate billing disputes with vendors if escalated.  - Travel if required to meet vendors and partners across the globe  - Network expansion and setup: building business cases, allocating budgets alongwith other teams  - Involve extensively in buying/purchasing of networks, access lines etc.  Experience: 15+ years  Education: BE/B-tech (Preferably in Electronics) and postgraduate qualifications
