WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Here's what you can expect on a typical day:


- Actively support the delivery of the Operations Development Strategy for Finance to facilitate identification of org/ job redesign and/or business process re-engineering opportunities to support the strategic direction. Collaborate directly with the Business Unit (BU) and Finance Leadership to develop actionable roadmaps, operational frameworks, and value delivery accountable to the BU for the overall delivery of a portfolio of products and capabilities


- Responsible for the learning and investment phases for new capabilities prior to execution. Ensure portfolio backlogs are prioritized to maximize business value realization, and plans are transparent to all stakeholders including Business Unit, Program Managers, Enterprise IT, Architecture, and Product Owners


- Responsible to guide the Data Stewards and Analysts on any data related understanding. You'll create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders from different geographies and ensure everyone is in this together and communicates most appropriately. You may also be expected to conduct data exploration workshops and be responsible for creating Business Blueprint/rules that capture manual processes and provide advice on end-to-end process improvement and automation.


- Facilitate major business process re-engineering or org/ job redesign projects to influence aspects of the business that relate to operational efficiency and effectiveness, increase available capacity, improve accuracy and timeliness, redesign roles and functions.


- Facilitate proper documentations of policies & procedures (including process flow charts) for processes in review, in accordance with best practices, and ensure proper governance framework.


- Inculcate an open and continuous improvement (CI) mindset and change behavior through deploying Business Process Management/ Re-engineering, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management and Design Thinking practices throughout the BU(s) supported to drive distinctive customer experience. You will also be expected to ensure improvement methodology and tools are utilized effectively to achieve maximum results.


- Implement, track and report BUs performance from a project management perspective and ensure project goals are on budget and on schedule.


- You'll speak to internal stakeholders to communicate and defend ideas while answering critical questions.


- Responsible to provide solution to business partner requirements when the requirement is beyond standard template. Responsible to decide client data transition and testing strategy. Play a key role in the success of the transformation process.


- There is no typical day. You could be working with various teams on data exploration and validation to delivering new operating model, collaborating with business teams on the data transformation/gathering or engaging with technical teams in deciding the optimal solutions for them. REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:


- To be able to succeed as a Senior Transformation Manager, you will be expected to show that you can realize the purpose, objectives, and obligations of the role by meeting certain requirements, including qualities, qualifications, experience, etc. You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Education: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Information Systems. A Ph.D in the relevant field will be given high priority.


Knowledge: It is vital that the applicant possess experience in information technology, leadership, and process analysis. The applicant is expected to be a BPM practitioner, Six Sigma Master Black Belt / LEAN Master certified or similar. The ideal candidate should have driven end-to-end transformation in a large multi-national organization and be able to define strategy, blueprint it, demo functionality and drive outcomes.


- Experience of having supported a Product Owner will be given significant weightage. He/she should be familiar with standard process taxonomies e.g., APQC or equivalent and be able to bring along industry best practices of Oracle (or similar ERP) deployment in a large enterprise using standard KPIs.


Experience:


- 10+ years of total experience with at least 7+ years in end-to-end Order-to-Cash business processes and systems (Oracle EBS or SAP or similar, Salesforce, CPQ tools, etc.).


- A minimum of 5 years of consulting experience with solid business process fit gap or establishment of operating models in a Finance function. Experience in any QTC or related functions (e.g., Sales, Contracting, Ordering, Billing and Renewals) is a mandatory requirement. Broad business development and pre-sales background is desirable.


- End-to-end migration and deployment experience with Oracle suite (or any other ERP) of products is also required. Experience of documenting systems/interfaces and critical data supporting processes will be evaluated as part of the interview.


- At least 2 years of experience with digital business process transformation. Experience driving value with RPA, Machine Learning, AI, Blockchain, IoT and Cloud are a plus.


- Experience of supporting a large portfolio of projects (at least 10+).


- Formal or informal Change Management and Solution Design knowledge and experience.

Preferred Skills:


- MBA or Business Degree with relevant work experience will carry significant weightage.


- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a Project Management qualification like Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or equivalent experience


- 3+ years of data management or data governance experience


- Domain knowledge of the broader supply chain is a plus


- Experience working in Agile projects will be an added advantage


Collaborative skills: The candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience leading transformation workshops with at least 15 attendees across functions is essential.


Communication skills: The role is required to frequently interact with senior Finance leadership (SVP and above) and it is imperative that the candidate demonstrate excellent written as well as verbal communication skills for effective presentation of both technical and non-technical information to audience from a varying background.


Organizational skills: It is essential that the candidate is a highly organized individual with the ability to effectively prioritize workload and execute tasks successfully even when faced within tight deadlines.


Apt for learning: The technological environment is highly dynamic; hence it is important that the candidate is a continual learner, willing to share and grow the knowledge of those around them and is abreast with industry changes and improvements in statistical and analytical tools.
