Director - Finance (Startup)

Responsibilities :

Financial Modeling :

- Develop financial models and forecasts.

Finalization of Accounts :

- Oversee the finalization of accounts, audits, MIS, and tax compliances.

Reporting :

- Direct the timely and accurate preparation of profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and other management reports.

Loan Disbursal Process :

- Manage the end-to-end loan disbursal process, coordinating with various stakeholders such as the Sales Team, Legal Team, and Credit Team.

Controllership :

- Ensure daily collection accounting is performed accurately in Tally ERP 9.

Profit and Loss Management :

- Demonstrate expertise in managing profit and loss accounts, segregating accounts based on business objectives, managing R&D funding, and presenting a healthy P/L for enhanced market capitalization.

Cash Flow Projection :

- Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure, including minimum cash thresholds to meet operational needs.

Revenue Cycle Management :

- Routinely review revenue cycle metrics and address any issues affecting overall performance proactively.

Annual Operating Budgets :

- Contribute to the development and management of annual operating budgets.

Strategic Business Planning :

- Collaborate on strategic business planning and executive reporting.

Financial Performance Management :

- Monitor and manage financial performance indicators.

Preferred Professional Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce. MBA and CA are plus.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

- Experience in a start-up is a plus.
