Description :
Reporting to the APAC Finance Director, your key responsibilities will be:
- Build financial plan that aligns to business objectives. Establish ROI on sales & marketing investments, with right assessment of risks and opportunities
- Co-own India sales & marketing financial plan. Understand levers impact market share, Net Promoter Score (NPS), distribution profitability, optimum channel inventory, revenue, gross margin, healthy working capital, and evaluate end to end sales & marketing objectives and readiness with right success metrics
- Ensure key investments, resources (Contras, Marketing and Operating Expense), and sales incentive plans are deployed to maximize ROI, for both the organic and disruptive growth segment of the business
- Work with stakeholders to build framework for deliverables / success metrics new initiatives, mitigate risk and financial exposure in supporting commercial deal activity and analysis
- Manage functional reviews with right callouts to management. Partner with country and regional business leaders to drive business results towards goals, and to make timely course corrections in line with business performance and external trends. Communicate findings and recommendations to business unit leaders both in country and region. Drive resolution of gaps while mitigating risks
- Strong understanding of revenue accounting principles to support revenue recognition
- Manages financial modeling for cost savings projects, capital expenditure evaluation, competitive analyses, and customer and product profitability
- Purposeful collaboration with the global business unit finance, country business teams, and support functions (i.e. Marketing, Sales Operations, HR, Supply Chain) in order to drive the business and functional agenda. To build and maintain relationships with business partners & broader finance management teams
- Manage 1 direct report. To provide indirect finance leadership to India/ Sri Lanka accounting team, and collaborate with regional, shared services finance and broader finance teams. Member of APAC finance management team. To inspire, create and ensure a high performing environment and teamwork mindset within the finance community
- Ability to analyze and assess the market and competitive landscape and drive goal setting linked to both internal company priorities as well as external landscape factors
- Review and provide recommendation on contractual arrangement which are both short-term and long-term in nature
- Ensure appropriate controls & processes are in place while driving process simplification and improvement, meet all controls and audit related metrics, proactively develop a strong open and ethical culture
- Ability to evaluate and operationalize business & operating model choices in both the transactional and contractual domains
- Ability to evaluate the foreign currency management strategies and propose adjustments working with treasury tied to pricing and other business realities
- Other ad hoc project, including merger & acquisition integration activities.
