The company size in India is a small team of 35 people across functions. - Develop an appropriate strategy, taking advantage of commercial opportunities to create long term efficiencies within the organisation. - Lead the annual planning process in budgeting and cost management in line with the company's business goals. - Identify and building relationships with key stakeholders and other strategic partners. - Ensure that all business operations are supported to ensure they run smoothly and in line with Cotton Connect's strategic goals and values. - Initiate new and efficient business process for the Finance function. - Manage external advisors (auditors / tax advisors) - Work effectively with operations and senior management; maintaining controls and managing inputs necessary for financial management, budgeting and resource planning - Knowledge of grant funding, audit and reporting will be an additional benefit - Commercial experience - working with non-finance people to deliver profit and growth - Ability to communicate, lead and inspire change through collaboration About you : - An individual who sees the bigger picture and can provide a strategic vision and direction for India in business planning, budgeting and partnership building. - You will have a proven track record in people management; financial and business planning and risk management. - A determined, competitive, resourceful independent self-starter with good commercial sense who is keen to have influence with people and events around them. - Significant experience / responsibility for Legal Entity governance and compliance - Have expertise in managing external audits, tax audits, financial accounts and reporting including year end - Have experience of transfer pricing - Advised and implemented GST and all statuary compliances
