Description - As the CFO, you would be responsible for leading the Finance and Commercial functions of the organization, including accounting, taxation, business finance, supply chain and corporate finance function. Acting as the company's "financial conscience", this role will be responsible for establishing internal controls, partnering with various stakeholders, to execute value-enhancing decisions and drive operational efficiencies.

Our client is a fast paced growing packaging MNC, based out of Mumbai. They are now looking to hire a strategic individual to lead their finance function.

Job Description : 

As the Finance & Commercial Director, you will report to the CEO. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for driving internal financial control strategy implementation, including ensuring consistency and compliance with guidelines.

- Responsible for liaising with internal auditors to ensure adequacy and relevance of audit coverage, and prompt audit process. This includes keeping company records organized and readily available for examination, co-ordination with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Ensure execution of business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial transactions and MIS.

- Responsible for executing internal controls and act as a custodian of the processes resulting into financial outgoes of the company.

- Act as a catalyst in team involved in high value transactions to obtain the best Value for Money. Also, responsible for implementing defined spending limits for expenditures and procurement through both cost savings and cost avoidance measures.

- Responsible for reviewing the Capital spend of the company.

- Ensuring adherence to Authority Metrix to avoid slippages having financial impact.

- Responsible for managing a team of plant controllers across plants and supply chain business partners in order to provide finance partnership to all supply chain sub functions.

Profile

The ideal candidate would be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 15+ years experience across manufacturing industries, across various functions. The candidate should be in a business facing role and currently working in the capacity of a CFO or Finance Controller, preferably with a packaging company. Candidates from Mumbai / Pune would be preferred.
