As a Finance Director, your responsibilities would be:

Qualification - CA

Tax / Treasury :


- Supervise the treasury function, including short-term financing and cash stability, tax issues, risk management and management of cash excess at local level

- Ensure that the appropriate financial contingency measures are well prepared and taken under stress situation.

- Ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of the business's financial statements is made in compliance with Indian fiscal, statutory and US GAAP accounting regulations.

- Advising on accounting issues and resolving accounting taxation issues on existing new products. Responsible for annual report and disclosure requirements in conformity with Indian accounting standards and IRDA Guidelines.

- Coordination for Income tax scrutiny and assessment, Filing of Income Tax return. Ensure full tax compliance in the organization and maintain regulation amendments from time to time including indirect tax (GST).

- Liaise with tax departments and tax consultants for assessments, notices etc.

- Liaise with Statutory and Internal Auditors.

- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts

- Arrange for debt financing as required both via ownership structure of with 3rd party

Management, Planning, Strategy:

- Implementation, maintenance, documentation and development of information systems to ensure that the business unit's transactions are recorded electronically and integrated with the financial systems of the company and support the operations.

- Work together with the business unit's leadership team in the elaboration and execution of the annual budget, forecast, and strategic plan.

- Lead the financial planning and the budget construction, assuring this process is focused in realistic but aggressive plans for the Business unit.

- Consolidation of the business- financial information, focusing in the achievement of consistency and alignment with home office goals and policies.

- Monitor actual performance against budget and provide a meaningful analysis of the same to the management, and implement corrective actions.

- Preparation of MIS reports for review with respect to core functional areas; monitors KPIs and provides insightful observations and trends that can be used to drive business performance

- Assess and evaluate the financial performance of organization with regard to annual and long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.

Technical, Managerial and People Skill :

- Strong leadership with the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal skills), evaluate and deploy people accurately, manage work processes and understand the business.

- Good experience in ERP and setting up strong processes

- High energy level, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.

- Excel and Power Point proficiency a must.

- Excellent communication and public speaking skills required
