- Responsible for managing overall Finance, Accounting & Taxation function

- Strong accounting & auditing knowledge and experience

- Fully conversant with ERP package

- Knowledge and experience in direct and indirect taxes including GST Knowledge of PF and ESI & other Labour laws

- Oversee & deliver all US GAAP, IGAAP and other compliance financial reports (i.e. weekly, monthly and quarterly, as necessary), along with necessary analysis

Oversee & Deliver reporting packages including Income statement, Balance sheet reconciliations with detailed schedules

Ensure accurate and timely closure of books at month, quarter and year end

- Responsible to draw up monthly MIS reports

- Liaison and Coordinate with Auditors for timely closure of Audit.

- Ensure statutory & regulatory compliance to applicable tax and commercial laws

- Compliance to Companies Act, Tracking and closure of open audit issues

- Preparation of Audit Committee presentation.

- Responsible for end to end closure of quarterly Statutory Audit.

- Ensure monthly analytical review of Financials with variance analysis

- Responsible to monitor the contingent liabilities.

- Framing and implementing policies and procedures for recording & internal controls

- Ensure proper cash flow management through forecasting and Implement measures to safeguard Co's properties, like adequate insurance covers

- Provide financial information to help management and promoters take informed decisions

- Ensure proper accounting systems are implemented and maintained to ensure requirements of the stakeholders are met.

- Ensure legal and contract management.

- Work with cross functional teams like Finance planning and tax to provide support and adhere to compliance

- Work with Internal audit to establish and maintain the Sox control environment

Build relationship and liaison with third party service providers, external auditors, group auditors and statutory auditors

- Build and maintain the COE at local level to support accounting functions such as AP, AR and GL.

Coordinate with other regional and global CoE leads to determine best practices and standard technology

- Manage a team of CoE accounting Staff.

- Mentor, train and nurture a team of accountants.

Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets:

1. CA/CWA with Minimum 12+ Years of Experience in Finance, Accounts & Taxation & preferably from BPO/ITES Industry but not must.

2. Exposure to US GAAP, Indian GAAP, Taxation Accounting, Vendor Payables, etc

3. Experience of dealing with External Auditors, Internal Auditors and Statutory Authorities

4. Excellent communication skills, analytical & numerical ability

5. High performing individual with strong business sense

6. Team player, should be able to create synergy and interact with, cross functional teams
