We are looking to hire Director Facility for IT Service company in Bangalore

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize long-term facility needs and improvements.

- Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses. Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Facility Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Coordinate with internal staff, contractors, and vendors to address any issues. promptly

- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of facilities management professionals and administrative staff. Provide guidance, performance feedback and professional. development opportunities to enhance the team's effectiveness.

- Vendor and Contractor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services within established budgets and timelines.

- Travel Planning and Administration: Organize travel as per business requirement, track per trip cost and expenses, devise comprehensive travel strategy. Overall, enhance employee experience. and optimize travel via inculcating discipline across the board.

- Space Planning and Utilization: Optimize the use of space and resources within the facilities.

- Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess space requirements, plan office layouts, and manage relocations, renovations, and expansions.

- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.

- Sustainability Initiatives: Drive sustainability initiatives and promote environmentally friendly practices within the facilities. Identify opportunities for energy conservation, waste reduction, and green initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental footprint.

- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facilities operations, including maintenance logs, repair history, and safety records. Prepare regular reports. for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, expenses, and projects.

Preferred Qualification & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field,MBA

- Minimum of 14 years of experience in facilities management, with progressive responsibility and leadership roles

- In-depth knowledge of facility management principles, best practices, and industry standards.

- Must have handled ODCs successfully

- Must have handled more than 5000 employees size Organization

Skills & Competencies :

- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Proven experience in vendor and contractor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation

- Extensive knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements

- Familiarity with sustainability practices and initiatives

- Proficient in using facilities management software and computer-aided facility management (CAFM) tools

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
