We are looking out for Ethic Compliance Director with our reputed client into Medical Device industry to be based out in Mumbai . Below mentioned are the details about the position:
Position- Compliance Director
Location- Mumbai
Reporting to Vice President
Key Responsibilities:
The role provides direction and leadership on Compliance matters to company business and ensure the business in the region have appropriate action plans in place to address key Compliance risks.
Essential job tasks:
- Leads the implementation of the Global Compliance Program in India and ASEAN businesses under the direction of the VP Compliance and with the support of a small team of Compliance professionals.
- Develops strategies and action plans to address market-specific risks in the region. Drives timely completion of risk mitigation plans and measures effectiveness of actions in reducing market risk.
- Keeps abreast of market, regional and global developments, and conducts benchmarking to ensure the Smith & Nephew compliance program in the region represents best in class.
- Partners with local and regional business leaders to measure, establish and monitor Compliance Culture in the markets.
- Develops and leads effective implementation of policies and procedures for all market-specific compliance-related activities.
- Drives local implementation of enhancements to the global compliance program and provides input and insight to potential the enhancements of the global compliance program.
- Ensures the establishment of effective local Compliance Training and Communication programs that use novel and market-appropriate methods for delivering memorable Compliance messages.
- Develops and implements risk-based local monitoring program to run in parallel to global monitoring activities.Supports the Global Compliance Audit and Internal Audit teams in conducting monitoring and auditing in the regions as required.
- Drives Third Party Seller and non-seller third party compliance management and initiatives in the region. Conducts Third Party Risk Assessments and site visits.
- Partners with business teams to ensure local third party strategies appropriately consider compliance risks and to develop mitigation plans in partnership with the applicable business partners.
- Leads investigations in the markets at the direction and request of the VP Compliance. Ensures consistent and appropriate investigative processes are utilized.
- Is the lead Compliance partner for India and ASEAN markets and represents Compliance on leadership team meetings. Chairs the local Compliance Committee meetings and ensure full business leadership engagement in Compliance Committees.
- Ensures that appropriate and consistent corrective actions are implemented for compliance issues in the markets.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitors and reports status on Compliance KPI's. Creates and implements action plans to address performance gaps as needed.
