About our Client - Our client is a premier Banking and Financial services company with a strong foothold in India. With a comprehensive equity research desk, our client covers all industry sectors and is looking for a Director to take over their equity research business in India.

Job Description - Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

- Leading a team of 58 senior and junior analysts and ensuring coverage of all research publications.

- Covering sectors such as retail, consumer, utilities, power, and metals and mining.

- Liaising and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

- Building relationships with promoters across all sectors.

- Ongoing analysis of individual stocks with coverage across various sectors.

- Building long lasting relationships with investors, regulators and all market participants.

The Successful Candidate -

- You will have an MBA from a top tier business school and a Bachelor's in engineering/IT is desirable.

- You will have at ideally 8-12 years of work experience in equity research.

- You will have demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical abilities along with excellent commercial acumen demonstrated through your prior work experience.
